He added that the late Nwoke was also devoted to the things of God till death and prayed his children to continue in his legacies.

The clergy man who used the opportunity to remind Christians of the need to live a life worthy of emulation as everyone would be remembered by the legacies they lived by when they are long gone called on everyone to be conscious of where to spend eternity.

The YPP Guber Candidate, Engr. Enyinnaya Nwafor who maintained that death is the way of all mortals described the late Nwoke as a peacemaker, a man of integrity and humble. He recalled his encounter with the man while he lived and urged the children never to lose sight of the right upbringing they got from him while praying God to give them the fortitude to bear the huge loss, adding that the death of a father is very painful.

Ibe Michael Nwoke revealed that the father’s death though shocking thought him that nothing lasts forever and described him as a father everyone would love to have, a cheerleader, devote christian, dedicated, focused and a great family man.

He noted that his legacies would continue to live as long as they pass through the earth and promised do be there for their mother against all odds.

“You were a father anybody would want to have. You showed us the way of the Lord at an early stage and also thought us that only hard-work and wealth gotten legitimately lasts forever. How could I forget our times together? when we ran Mike & Sons Business, even when you allowed me take charge of the accounts and it doesn’t balance, as my pal you would understand and smile at me”. “We Farmed together, laughed together and did so much more. You made me understand the value of money at a very young age, you had a word for every situation, you thought me never to give up no matter what life throws at me”, he said.

“Even on your sick bed, you would always say to me “Ibe, hold unto God firmly, everything is gonna be ok”. Papa, you struggled to live, you fought so hard to still stay alive for us, if it was in your powers, we won’t be here with heavy hearts to pay our last respect to you, but because it pleases the Lord, we cannot question Him.”

‘As your body is interred to mother earth today, it is my promise to you that I will live by the legacies you left behind and the words you left with me”, he added.
