The seasoned journalist is a lover of his people and culture who strives to preserve their history by continuously documenting it in both electronics and print.

Arowona was born to the family of late Alhaji S.A Arowona, Asileke compound, Oke-Apomu in the Ilorin West local government area. The Authority gathered that as a young boy,  he came under the tutelage of a prominent Islamic scholar, Alhaji Muhammed Nasir Abdulkareem who shaped his horizon and passion for Quaranic recitation and research for Islamic knowledge where he developed uncommon passion for  erudism and insatiable quest for knowledge.

His journalism practice has witnessed a bourgeoning trajectory with enviable records

that made him to ply his trade at various media ranging from prints, electronics, and new media.

Abdulazeez is a well-respected media guru, an author, presenter, producer, a prolific writer and

above all, the founder, publisher and the chief executive officer of Royal News Newspapers, an online media platform.

Little wonder he is rewarded with the well- deserved appointment and conferment of one of the highest traditional titles in the emirate through the gesture of Alhaji Hon. (Dr) Abubakar Sero Idris, the emir of Okuta and Chairman Baruten Traditional Rulers Council.
